Festival Date and Time

The 2024 Latinx Comic Arts Festival (LCAF) will take place in-person on Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23, 2024.  Each day, LCAF will occur from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

 

Location

LCAF will take place at Modesto Junior College's West Campus within the Mary Stuart Rogers (MSR) Building #16 in Modesto, CA.  

 

ADA Compliance for the Building

The Mary Stuart Rogers (MSR) Building #16 is an ADA-compliant facility.

 

Cost

LCAF is a free, all-ages, family friendly event that is open to the public.

 

Recording and Photography


By entering The Latinx Comic Arts Festival, you are entering an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur.

Your entry and presence on the event premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with the festival and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news, and advertising.

By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video, or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media.

You understand that all photography, filming, and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the event premises.


COVID Protocol

In order to ensure the safety of our employees, students, exhibitors, attendees, and community, masks are strongly encouraged when inside the Mary Stuart Rogers (MSR) building. 

 

Cosplay Protocol

The Latinx Comic Arts Festival invites its attendees to cosplay during the event; however, please note that masks and helmets that cover the face are not permitted within the Mary Stuart Rogers Building during the festival. Additionally, all cosplay is encouraged to be family friendly, and simulated weapons are not permitted in the building.
